A renowned crime writer flees to a remote Greek village to spark her creativity, only to find her writing retreat hijacked by a real-life murder mystery when she becomes convinced a local resident is the killer.

Successful crime novelist Sian Anderson escapes to a Greek village to write her next book, leaving her boyfriend behind. She meets her landlord Elias Appleby, who warns her about the strong winds on the desert island. As she settles in, she becomes suspicious of Phill, Elias' American employee, and decides to investigate. Her snooping leads her to a shocking discovery: Elias is dead and buried. But her worst fears are confirmed when she realizes Phill is a deranged killer, now stalking her.
