Woodlies SEVENPOINTS, FIREHEAD, and NINEEYES live near a campsite in the woods, struggling to find food as winter approaches. They invade a human's house, seeking cookies, but a cat chases them. They escape with the food and take it to their burrow. Later, SEVENPOINTS is kidnapped by WHITETAIL, a wicked Woodlie, and the Swamp Rats. FIREHEAD and NINEEYES rescue SEVENPOINTS and other prisoners from WHITETAIL's hideout.

As the winter chill sets in, three small, furry friends - Sevenpoints, Firehead, and Nineeyes - embark on a desperate quest to secure food, leading them to an abandoned campsite where they concoct a plan to capitalize on the humans' departure.
