Three Live Ghosts

On the anniversary of the Armistice, a detective questions Mrs. Gubbins about her stepson's friend William Foster, a young man who, like him, was cut down in the trenches of World War I.

On Armistice Day, 1918, an investigator questions Mrs. Gubbins about a William Foster, a friend of her stepson Jimmie, who was listed as killed in action. However, Jimmie, along with Bill "Jones" and a man with lost memory, unexpectedly appear, revealed to be ghosts as they were officially recorded as dead.
