Tokyo gangster Tetsu is forced to flee his life of crime after his boss Kurata decides to leave the yakuza. However, Kurata's legitimate business is threatened by a rival mob family, led by Otsuka. Tetsu leaves his girlfriend Chiharu behind and becomes a drifter in the countryside. But after being betrayed, he returns to Tokyo to settle the score.
