Treachery Rides the Range background

Treachery Rides the Range

The survival of a Native American tribe hinges on the preservation of the Buffalo herd, as a government promise to protect them from hunters brings a fragile sense of security.

In a desperate bid for survival, the Indians rely on the Buffalo herds, protected by a government treaty that promises to keep hunters at bay. However, Carter, a ruthless entrepreneur, has other plans, signing a lucrative contract for furs and Buffalo meat. To achieve his goal, he incites the Indians to break the treaty and wage war, resulting in the capture of the Colonel's daughter as a hostage.
