A group of rough-talking lumberjacks clear-cut a hillside of trees, sending them to Christmas tree lots where families select and decorate them. The trees endure a terrifying ordeal, from the agony of being cut down to the disorientation of new surroundings and the unsettling rituals of holiday decorating. But on Christmas morning, the tables turn, and the trees exact a gruesome revenge on the families who have wronged them.
