Trouble in Mind

In the military-run metropolis of Rain City, a group of individuals converge on Wanda's Café, a gathering spot for those seeking a fresh start. The café is run by Wanda, a former lover of John Hawkins, a former police officer who was released from prison after serving eight years for murder. Hawk has returned to Wanda's to restart his life, but finds himself falling for Georgia, a young mother who is struggling to make ends meet. Georgia's husband Coop has become involved with a criminal named Solo, which threatens their relationship and their safety. Meanwhile, Hawk must navigate his feelings for Georgia while trying to help her and her son, and confront his own demons from his past.
