Pancho Villa seeks vengeance against the overseer who killed his father, turning to a life of banditry and using his brutal tactics to win the respect of the poor by targeting the wealthy.

Young Pancho Villa seeks revenge for his father's death by killing an overseer, leading him to take up arms in the Mexican hills. He befriends American reporter Johnny Sykes and later meets Francisco Madero, who transforms him into a revolutionary general. Villa's armies sweep Mexico, but his disregard for human life forces Madero to exile him. Villa later returns to raise the people against a new tyrant.
