As Montana prepares to become a state, property values are set to skyrocket, prompting outlaw Caldwell to use his gang to forcibly evict ranchers from their land. In response, Tuttle enlists the Trail Blazers, unaware that Maynard, one of the group's members, has been secretly appointed Marshal by Caldwell himself.
