Willa: An American Snow White

In 1915 America, a reimagined fairy tale unfolds around Regina Worthington, a former stage star now consumed by jealousy towards her talented and stunning stepdaughter Willa, who has taken center stage.

The story "Snow White" is reimagined in a realistic 1915 America setting, where an aging beauty, Regina Worthington, serves as the jealous queen. She's a former stage performer whose career has declined. Willa, her beautiful and talented stepchild, takes on the role of Snow White. The seven dwarfs' cottage is transformed into a traveling medicine show run by Dr. Alfonzo, a failed Shakespearean actor, and his eccentric companions: Chief Tonka, an Irish Indian with a flair for drama, and Billy Bug, a dancing dwarf. They peddle Chief Tonka's Elixir of Life, a potent liquor claimed to reverse aging.
