Aaron's military career was marked by rapid ascension, as he rose through the ranks to become a Sergeant in under three years. His exceptional leadership skills earned him a spot in Officer Candidate School at Quantico, and he was subsequently commissioned as an active duty officer.
Aaron's extensive service took him to various overseas assignments, including Operation Southern Watch, Detainee Operations at Joint Task Force Guantanamo, Security Cooperation and foreign military training in Saudi Arabia, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and his final tour in Afghanistan.
