Aaron Lubarsky is a renowned Primetime Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker and executive producer with a wealth of experience in video production leadership.
From 2020 to 2022, Aaron held the position of Executive Producer at World Science Studios, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of creatives, including designers, video producers, animators, marketers, and educators. In this role, he was responsible for spearheading the development of original content and leading the creation of innovative digital programs featuring some of the world's most esteemed scientists, all in partnership with the World Science Festival.
Aaron's impressive body of work includes his nomination for two Primetime Emmys for his contributions to the HBO series JOURNEYS WITH GEORGE, as well as his win for Outstanding Editing: Nonfiction Programming. Additionally, he was a producer on the Emmy-winning series YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY, which aired on Showtime, and directed and edited the duPont-award winning PBS documentary SEOUL TRAIN.
Aaron and his team have also created engaging branded content for a diverse range of clients, including WEIGHT WATCHERS, CLIF BAR, and BRIGHTSOURCE ENERGY.
Prior to his professional career, Aaron earned his Master's degree in Documentary Production from Stanford University, where his thesis film earned a Student Academy Award and a Student Emmy Award.
