Abigail Mason, a talented actress, was born in Lansing, Michigan, and her passion for acting began at the tender age of eight. By the time she was 14, she had already participated in over twenty theatre productions and musicals, showcasing her impressive range and dedication to her craft.
At the age of 15, Abigail attended a talent convention, which proved to be a pivotal moment in her career. She convinced her parents that it was time to take a leap of faith and visit Los Angeles, a decision that would ultimately lead her to success.
Abigail's big break came when she was cast as the 16-year-old lead in Michael Landon, Jr.'s film, "Saving Sarah," playing the role of Lyddie Cottrel, a religiously devout young Amish woman who becomes orphaned with her four siblings. This project not only allowed her to tap into her acting skills but also provided her with a unique opportunity to learn about and appreciate the Amish culture.
Abigail is drawn to projects that feature strong character roles and convey positive messages to the audience. She is particularly interested in projects that involve her love of sports and animals, which she believes make her performances more authentic and engaging. Her work on "Discovery on Blackbird Island" and "The Suite Life" were particularly fulfilling, as they allowed her to combine her passions with her love of acting.
To maintain her inspiration and challenge herself as an actress, Abigail participates in an advanced acting class and works with a private coach. She is committed to her craft and accepts the ups and downs that come with it as part of her journey.
In her free time, Abigail is dedicated to giving back to her community. She supports Compassion International, sponsoring a child from the Dominican Republic, and is involved in the volunteer program, Illuminate, which provides underprivileged children with an opportunity to express themselves through the creative arts. Additionally, she helps sponsor a program that provides medical support to children with AIDS in Zambia.
