Clark's sophomore feature film, Newly Single, was fortunate enough to receive support from the esteemed Sundance Institute Feature Film Program, a testament to the program's commitment to nurturing innovative storytelling. Moreover, Newly Single holds the distinction of being only the third American movie to ever be invited into the main competition of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF),a notable achievement that underscores Clark's growing reputation as a talented filmmaker. Notably, Newly Single also marks Clark's first time acting in a feature film, demonstrating his versatility as a creative force.
Prior to his successful foray into narrative filmmaking, Clark honed his skills in unscripted television, even while still a student at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. He was subsequently hired to direct the hit CBS television show Big Brother, a testament to his natural talent and ability to adapt to various formats. Clark's extensive experience in the industry also includes stints in commercials and music videos, as well as being a roster director at A Band Apart and a show runner in both the US and China, further solidifying his reputation as a multifaceted and accomplished filmmaker.
Originally from Seattle, Clark now resides and works in downtown Los Angeles, where he continues to make a significant impact on the film industry.
