Adam J. Yeend is a talented individual hailing from the picturesque Blue Mountains west of Sydney, where he embarked on a journey to hone his acting skills under the guidance of renowned actor John Noble, known for his roles in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and Fringe. His training in the Stella Adler/Stanislavski technique at The Lynette Sheldon Actors' Studio further refined his craft, while his academic background in Communication Studies from the University of Western Sydney, with a sub-major in cinema studies and professional writing, has undoubtedly influenced his approach to storytelling.
Before making a name for himself in the industry, Yeend first appeared in several critically acclaimed short films, before transitioning to guest roles on Australian television. He has also had the opportunity to take on lead roles in various Sydney plays and has toured the east coast of Australia with renowned theatre company Brainstorm Productions.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, Yeend has expanded his repertoire to include numerous film roles and has also ventured into producing, working on projects such as Lust for Love, Skypemare, and the Scary Endings thriller series. His performance in the Los Angeles stage production of 'Holding the Man' directed by Larry Moss received widespread critical acclaim in 2014. His US television credits include Liz & Dick and Scandal, with his most recent project being the thriller series Brentwood Strangler, in which he both produced and played the title character opposite Jordan Ladd.
Outside of his acting and producing pursuits, Yeend is an avid film enthusiast, often writing film essays for Dark Horizons and contributing to The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences online publication, A. Frame, on a monthly basis. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, having studied the instrument for several years, and is also a trained horse rider.
Yeend is the older brother of Matthew, and his passion for storytelling and performance is evident in his diverse range of projects and endeavors.
