Adam Leon is a filmmaker based in New York City. His first feature-length film, titled "Gimme The Loot", gained widespread recognition, as it won the Grand Jury Prize at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival and was officially selected to be showcased at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, "Gimme The Loot" was released theatrically worldwide, gaining a global audience.
Leon's subsequent film, "Tramps", premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016, where it was successfully acquired by Netflix.
Leon's most recent feature-length film, "Italian Studies", stars the talented actress Vanessa Kirby and was released by Magnolia in January 2022.
Throughout his career, Leon has received numerous accolades, including winning the Independent Spirit Someone To Watch award and being nominated for the Breakthrough Director award at the Gotham Awards.
