Addison Riecke was born on January 26, 2004, in Covington, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans. At the age of four, she discovered her passion for acting, singing, and playing musical instruments. By eight, she had already appeared in national commercials for Lunchables and Playstation, and had booked a pilot, becoming a series regular on Nickelodeon's hit show, The Thundermans, playing the role of Nora Thunderman.
The Thundermans was a multi-cam, live-action, half-hour sitcom series about a family of superheroes trying to live a normal life despite their superhuman powers. The show premiered in November 2013 and won Favorite TV Show at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in 2016.
Addison has also appeared in the digital network Brat's series A Girl Named Jo, starring as Cathy alongside Annie LeBlanc as Jo. The show is set in 1963 and follows the unlikely friendship of Cathy and Jo as they uncover the community's complex history.
In her film debut, The Beguiled, Addison played Marie, an academy resident, alongside Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning, and Colin Farrell. The film, written and directed by Sofia Coppola, premiered at Cannes Film Festival and received the prestigious award of Best Director.
Addison has also co-starred in Banana Split, a film about an unexpected female friendship during the transition between high school and college. She has a big heart and enjoys giving back, having raised over four thousand dollars for the Red Cross, benefiting the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes.
Addison is an avid supporter of anti-bullying and has presented an award at the NO BULL Teen Video Awards. She has also participated in Custom Ink's "Be Good to Each Other" campaign to support PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center.
In addition to her philanthropic efforts, Addison enjoys playing the ukulele, cooking/baking, reading, and practicing screenwriting. She has two rescue cats named Maddie and Hannah, two rescue dogs named Scout and Pippa, and a boxer named Coco.
