Adriana Álvarez, a talented actress with a rich background, was born and raised in the vibrant city of San José, Costa Rica. Her passion for acting was evident from a young age, and she began her journey in the world of performing arts with a strong foundation. Prior to pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree at the esteemed ASDS, Adriana earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, which not only honed her writing skills but also provided her with a solid understanding of storytelling. During this time, Adriana had the opportunity to participate in three feature films, including "Gestation," "Port Father," and "Cold Water of the Sea," which garnered her an impressive five awards for best acting at various film festivals around the world.
Before making the move to New York City in 2012, Adriana began her acting education in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she laid the groundwork for her future success. Her early experiences in the city's thriving theatre scene prepared her for the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead. In addition to her film work, Adriana has also had the privilege of performing in professional theatre productions and television shows in Costa Rica, as well as numerous short films.
