Adrianne Richards is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. With a career spanning multiple decades, she has had the opportunity to perform all over the world, showcasing her exceptional acting, singing, dancing, and voice artistry skills.
At the tender age of 11, Adrianne made her theatrical debut in Vancouver, British Columbia, with Claymar Productions. She went on to attend the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she majored in dance. During her time at the university, she was asked to dance with the renowned Koresh Dance Company for a season, before embarking on a journey to Germany to perform in the iconic musical, Cats.
As Adrianne began her film and television career in Montreal, Canada, she continued to hone her craft by performing in various plays, musicals, and dance companies. She made her mark in the French premiere of Broadway's Chicago, both in Montreal and Paris, and also starred in Cabaret. Additionally, she originated the role of Bobbi in Sidemart Theatrical Grocer's The Haunted Hillbilly, and was part of the Cellblock National Tour of Chicago, as well as performed in Chicago at The Hollywood Bowl, where she served as dance captain, directed by the talented Brooke Shields.
Adrianne's impressive film and television credits include ABC's Desperate Housewives, CBS's #Friends With Better Lives, Lifetime's Circle of Friends, CBC's The Detectives, MGM's The Truth about the Harry Quebert Affair, ID's Fatal Vows, Chazz Palminteri's Noel, and Benjamin Steiger Levine's Zachary Samuel: Illusionist, which received critical acclaim in the festival circuit. She has also starred in Steven Espinoza's Black Dahlia Ballet and Susan Fuda's Underneath.
In addition to her acting career, Adrianne has also pursued her passion for music. She co-founded the band In the Living Room in Montreal, Canada, and debuted her solo album Happy on i-Tunes in 2012. As a voice actor, she has lent her voice to numerous TV, Web, and Radio ads.
Adrianne's impressive body of work has not gone unnoticed. She was nominated for a META for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actress in 2020 for her starring role in the English Language World Premiere of MOB at Centaur Theatre.
