Adrienne Louis Johnson, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, embarked on a journey in the performing arts at a tender age, taking the stage in church and school productions. Her passion for acting only grew stronger as she continued to hone her craft throughout high school and college, predominantly in theatrical productions.
In 2015, Adrienne and her husband relocated to Georgia, where her love for acting was rekindled in January 2016 when she was selected as the Stand-In for Ms. Cassi Davis as Aunt Bam in the Tyler Perry movie, Boo! A Madea Halloween (2016). Since then, she has appeared in numerous film and television projects, earning recognition for her roles in the popular TVOne series "Fatal Attraction", the thriller film "Spooked", and the medical drama "The Resident" on Fox.
Adrienne's extensive theater experience has been a remarkable chapter in her acting career. Her most recent endeavor includes being cast in the off-Broadway production, "The Ortega Family Musical", which has been met with widespread acclaim. The musical's return to Atlanta in the fall of 2019, by popular demand, has cemented Adrienne's status as a talented comedic actress with exceptional improv skills and the ability to play multiple characters.
As a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA),Adrienne has recently completed work on the romantic comedy, "Love Happens", filmed on location in picturesque Petoskey, Michigan. Her impressive resume also includes a stint in the short inspirational film "Carmen", which premiered in London in January 2019.
