Adrienne Acevedo Lovette, a multifaceted creative force, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in Orlando, Florida. As an award-winning actor, director, writer, and filmmaker, she is the founder of The Garage Productions, a production company dedicated to showcasing the underrepresented, including the BIPOC Community, the LGBTQIA+ community, and differently-abled people.
Throughout her career, Adrienne has had the privilege of working alongside talented individuals such as Naomi Watts, Aziz Ansari, Joaquin Phoenix, Sam Rockwell, and Michelle Williams. Her impressive TV credits include notable roles in "Better Call Saul", "Ray Donovan", "Fosse/Verdon", and "The Deuce". She has also made a lasting impression with her performances in films like "Sunlight Jr." and "Thick Heart", the latter of which earned her the Best Actress award at the Top Shorts Film Festival.
Adrienne's most recent endeavors include producing and assisting directing the coming-of-age drama "Brownsville Bred", which premiered at SXSW and won the Audience Award for best episodic pilot. She was also a winner of the Sundance Collab Film Challenge for her personal documentary "Little Bean" and was named a Women Directing Mentorship Semifinalist through Series Fest, sponsored by Shonda Rhimes' company Shondaland.
As a director, Adrienne has helmed several award-winning short films and web series, exploring genres such as horror/thriller, comedy, and drama. Her feature film debut, the psychological drama "I'M OKAY, WE'RE OKAY", which she co-wrote, produced, and starred in, is a testament to her versatility and talent. Additionally, she has directed the coming-of-age drama pilot "This Boy's Vida; Made In America".
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Adrienne is proud of her diverse heritage, which includes Spanish, Taino (indigenous),Afro-Latino, and English roots.
