Born and raised in Kumamoto, Hashimoto Ai embarked on her journey in the entertainment industry in 2008 after successfully auditioning for Sony's Newcome, a feat that was encouraged by her mother, who has a fascination with celebrities. Ai is the middle child among her two sisters, and her mother believed she possessed the potential to excel in the audition, a prediction that Ai initially dismissed.
As her career began to take shape, Ai made her debut as a model in Seventeen magazine in 2010, followed by her acting debut in the same year with the lead role in Give And Go. Her subsequent roles in Confessions and Sadako 3D further solidified her presence in the industry.
In 2013, Hashimoto Ai was awarded the prestigious Rookie of The Year prize at the 36th Japan Academy Program, a testament to her remarkable talent and dedication. However, she eventually ceased her modelling career in 2014.
