A.J. Wedding's illustrious career in the film industry began in his childhood, when he created his first film at the tender age of 11, a remarkable achievement that ultimately contributed to the establishment of the first recycling program in his hometown of Flint, Michigan.
Following his academic pursuits, A.J. earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Western Michigan University, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors.
Upon entering the professional sphere, A.J. began his career by reading scripts for Cruise/Wagner Productions at Paramount Pictures, where he seized every opportunity to learn from industry experts, expanding his skill set in various areas, including producing, cinematography, lighting, directing, visual effects, and even briefly appearing in front of the camera.
As the Head of Production for Raleigh Studios, A.J. oversaw the production and direction of commercials, ad campaigns, and live broadcasts, solidifying his reputation as a multifaceted and versatile professional.
A.J. is also the co-founder of Orbital Studios, a cutting-edge virtual production studio based in the heart of Los Angeles, with satellite operations scattered throughout the country.
In addition to his work at Orbital Studios, A.J. serves as the Virtual Production Supervisor for the critically acclaimed FX series Snowfall, and is also the driving force behind the industry-focused podcast "The Callsheet," a testament to his enduring passion for the craft and his commitment to sharing his expertise with others.
