Al Gomez, a veteran of the Entertainment Industry, has had a diverse career spanning multiple roles, including Producer, Writer, and Actor. Born in Los Angeles, he graduated with honors and began his acting career at the age of 18. He secured his first role in an independent feature film, "Hi-Riders," alongside legendary actors Mel Ferrer, Ralph Meeker, and Neville Brand.
Gomez's early success led to roles in various movies, including Universal's "Cloak & Dagger" with Dabney Coleman. He then discovered his passion for writing and penned his first screenplay, "Joysticks," a teen comedy that became a cult classic.
As he continued to write and produce, Gomez worked with notable industry professionals, including the Producers of "The Breakfast Club" and the Hispanic Film Project. He teamed with Robert Diaz LeRoy to produce award-winning films, including "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and "River Bottom."
Gomez's creative instincts led him to the Video Game Industry, where he brought feature film quality to CD-Rom games. He then transitioned into the digital world, serving as VP of Marketing for AndAction Corp. and ushering in the era of Digital Cinema.
After exploring the video game and technology industries, Gomez collaborated with Robert LeRoy on various projects, including the comedy feature film "Elvis Is Alive! I Swear I Saw Him Eating Ding Dongs Outside the Piggly Wiggly's." He has since produced and executive produced numerous films, television shows, and web series, including "Crime Scene X," "Noah's Park," and "Dark Gospels."
