Al's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of 15, when he started making a name for himself in the business. He quickly found success, booking his first meeting for modeling with Versace, followed by a commercial with Gusher Fruit Snack, a TV role in Grosse Pointe, and a film role in Jeepers Creepers 2.
As a Ford Model NYC, Al booked over 50 commercials and appeared on dozens of magazine covers, including Seventeen, YM, Teen-Vogue, American Fitness, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and many international campaigns for prominent brands such as Versace, Armani, D&G, Levi's, Lee, American Eagle, and Wrangler. In 2001, Al was named the "Cosmopolitan Man of the Year".
During his time as a model, Al discovered his true passion for the sciences and studied at several colleges in NYC. While in school, he trained with renowned acting coaches, including NYU Film and Hunter College Film NYC, and acting coach Penny Templeton. His first casting after completing his studies was for Darren Star's critically acclaimed show, Grosse Pointe, where he landed the coveted lead role of "Johnny Bishop" on the WB show.
Al's success in Grosse Pointe led him to make the move to Hollywood, where he booked a lead role in MGM/United Pictures and Victor Salva/Francis Ford Coppola's Jeepers Creepers II. The horror franchise took the number one spot for several weeks and still holds some box office records.
In addition to his acting career, Al has also found success as a producer and writer, with his own production company. He has recently returned to Hollywood and NYC, where he is now managing several companies in the real estate and tech industries.
Most recently, Al has reunited with his first agent, Rachel Sheedy, founder of INSURGE-Ent, and is working on new projects, including films, shows, and concepts. With several projects in pre-production, fans can expect to see Al in some exciting new projects in the near future.
