Alan, a multifaceted individual, is a writer, actor, and director who has honed his craft at the esteemed Manchester Polytechnic School of Theatre.
His acting career spans a significant period, with a notable stint of two and a half years playing the role of PC Nick Slater in the popular British television series, The Bill, which premiered in 1984.
Throughout his career, Alan has appeared in a diverse range of television shows and films, showcasing his versatility as a performer. Some of his notable credits include the critically acclaimed comedy series, Peep Show, the historical drama, The Borgias, and the feature film, Honour.
As a writer, Alan has collaborated with co-writer James Allen on the television series, Stan Lee's Lucky Man, and has several projects in various stages of development, including the feature film, The Son.
