Alana De La Garza, a talented actress, was born in Columbus, Ohio, and later relocated to Texas, where she attended the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP),furthering her education and laying the groundwork for her future success.
Following her time at UTEP, De La Garza moved to Orlando, Florida, where she landed roles in numerous independent films, as well as commercials, honing her craft and gaining valuable experience.
As her career continued to blossom, De La Garza relocated to New York, where she studied extensively under the guidance of renowned acting instructor JoAnna Beckson, refining her skills and preparing herself for the challenges of the entertainment industry.
De La Garza's early work included a role as "Rosa Santos" on the daytime drama All My Children (1970),which marked a significant turning point in her career, ultimately leading her to move to Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles, De La Garza landed a series of guest spots, one of the most notable being her portrayal of a con artist on the hit show Las Vegas (2003),followed by a series lead on the WB's The Mountain (2004).
In addition to her work on television, De La Garza has also appeared in a number of films, including the romantic comedy Mr. Fix It (2006),opposite David Boreanaz, and has been a guest on the popular series CSI: Miami (2002).
Most recently, De La Garza joined the cast of Law & Order (1990) in June 2006, bringing her unique talent and experience to the iconic television program.
