Alanna, a creative and ambitious individual, was born and raised in the picturesque rural countryside of Abbotsford, British Columbia. As an only child, she was encouraged to nurture her imagination and passion for creation from a very young age, which ultimately led her down the path of performance.
Her early beginnings in the world of acting began when she landed her first lead role at the tender age of eight, playing the role of a young girl living in a box car during the Depression of the 1930s. This initial experience sparked a fire within her, and she continued to pursue her dreams with unwavering dedication.
After graduating with honors from Capilano University's Arts and Entertainment Management program, Alanna made the bold decision to relocate to Toronto, where she secured a position as an Executive Assistant at a prominent talent agency. However, she soon realized that her true calling was to be in front of the camera, and she made the courageous move to apply to the esteemed Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
Her hard work and determination paid off, as she was accepted into the One Year Conservatory Program, allowing her to further hone her craft and develop her skills as an actor. Following her successful completion of the program, Alanna returned to Toronto, where she has since had the opportunity to work on a variety of short and feature films.
