Alberto Taraglio, a cinematic trailblazer, hails from Rome, Italy, where he began his journey at the renowned Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, graduating with a directorial degree after crafting a 40-minute masterpiece titled "You are different", featuring the exceptional talents of Sergio Castellitto.
Following his debut, Taraglio joined forces with the acclaimed director Gianni Amelio, lending his screenwriting expertise to the RAI tv series "I ragazzi di via Panisperna" in 1988, as well as several feature films, including the critically acclaimed "Così Ridevano" (also known as "The Way they Laughed"),which went on to win the prestigious Golden Lion award at the 1998 Venice Film Festival.
