Biography

Alejo Mo-Sun, a multifaceted individual with a rich background in martial arts and a successful career in the entertainment industry. Born in Hamburg, Germany, he was raised in Toronto, Canada, where he embarked on a twenty-year journey in martial arts, mastering various styles including Tai Ji, Wing Tsun, Hung Gar, and Yang Style.

Mo-Sun's martial arts training culminated in his study with Tom Fung, the 8th generation descendant of Tai Ji Mantis founder, Wong Long. This experience undoubtedly shaped his discipline, focus, and dedication to his craft.

When Alejo relocated to California, he leveraged his extensive martial arts background and acting skills to establish himself as a rising star. His business acumen and industry insight soon led him to shift his focus, and he experienced tremendous success as the SVP of Business Development at Route 66, a movie-marketing firm.

In this role, Alejo designed and executed a campaign to rebrand the firm, resulting in a significant increase in market share. This achievement demonstrates his ability to think strategically, innovate, and drive results.

Mo-Sun's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own production company, Alejo Mo-Sun Entertainment, where he develops and directs his own projects. His vision is to create globally-based, franchisable action/adventures with a love-story through-line.

Under his leadership, Alejo Mo-Sun Entertainment has already produced numerous pilots and commercials. His feature film, Hirokin, released in 2010, marks his most ambitious project to date. This action/adventure film boasts an impressive team, including producer Braxton Pope, casting director Mary Vernieu, production designer Stephanie Gordon, and stunt coordinator Julius LeFlore.
