Alex Barima, a rising star in the acting world, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his versatility and passion for his craft. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Alex is a native French speaker and is proud to be a part of the French-Canadian entertainment scene.
Alex's journey in acting began in high school, where he honed his skills in dramatic arts. He went on to receive a post-secondary theater degree and attended the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts to further his education and training. Before launching his professional acting career, Alex participated in competitive improv for five years in Montreal and even set up his own independent improv league in Vancouver in 2019.
As a professional actor, Alex has had the opportunity to work on some of the hottest shows on television, including FOX's "The Exorcist," Amazon Prime Video's "The Man in the High Castle," CW's "Supernatural," "The 100," and "Riverdale." He has also appeared in several indie films, including "Adventures in Public School" and Disney's "Tomorrowland" alongside George Clooney.
In addition to his on-screen work, Alex is also a talented voiceover artist, having lent his voice to over 25 episodes of Entertainment One's anime series "Zoids Wild." He has also worked on Marvel Studios' "Lego Marvel Avengers: Climate Conundrum" and Netflix's "The Hollow." Alex is currently working on a brand-new Netflix voiceover project, set to be announced soon.
Despite his success, Alex remains humble and grounded, crediting his passion and dedication to his craft for his achievements. He is a passionate advocate for Canada-based productions, actors, and directors, and has worked with creatives such as Richard Harmon and Amanda Tapping.
When he's not acting, Alex enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing video games, and watching anime. He is also a big fan of writing, directing, and producing, and hopes to one day get behind the camera to tell his own stories.
