Alex Holdridge is a multifaceted creative force, recognized for his impressive body of work as a writer, director, and actor. His most notable achievement is the Independent Spirit Award-winning film, In Search of a Midnight Kiss, which premiered in 2007.
As a collaborative artist, Holdridge co-directed and co-wrote Meet Me in Montenegro, a 2014 film that debuted at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival. The Orchard released the film in the United States, while it played at various European festivals, including those in Edinburgh and Munich.
Throughout his career, Holdridge has received numerous accolades, including the South by South West Film Festival Jury and Audience Award for Sexless (2003) and the Austin Film Fest Audience Winner for Wrong Numbers (2001). His work has also featured talented actors, including Scoot McNairy, whom he cast in his first role and worked with on three films, including the Spirit-Award-winning In Search of a Midnight Kiss.
