Alex's journey began in Montreal, where he was born and raised. His academic pursuits took him to the National Theatre Institute at the esteemed Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center in Connecticut, from which he graduated with honors from the Dome Theatre at Dawson College.
Making his mark in the film industry, Alex made his debut in the critically acclaimed "The Jeweller's Shop," starring alongside renowned actor Ben Cross, with a screenplay penned by none other than Pope John Paul the 2nd.
Throughout his illustrious career, Alex has had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented individuals in the industry, including Phillip Seymour Hoffman in "Owning Mahowny," Glenn Close in "The Safety of Objects," Russel Crowe in "Cinderella Man," Susan Sarandon in "The Calling," Tom Wilkinson and Greg Kinnear in "The Kennedys," and Timothy Hutton and Maury Chaikin in "Nero Wolfe."
Alex's television credits include recurring and guest starring roles on popular shows such as "Flashpoint," "Murdoch Mysteries," "Good God," "Burden of Truth," and "This is Wonderland."
As an accomplished stage actor, Alex has performed across Canada and internationally, earning numerous awards and accolades for his outstanding work. Additionally, he is a published and award-winning playwright, with his plays having been produced in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
