Mune, the Moon Guardian, has garnered widespread critical acclaim and has been feted at numerous esteemed film festivals, including the illustrious Tokyo Animation Award Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, Kids's Screen, and the Stockholm International Film Festival Junior.

As a result of its cinematic triumph, the film has been granted a global release, with a multitude of countries scheduled to premiere the movie this year.

Furthermore, Mune has been acquired by the renowned distribution company, GKIDS, for its release in the United States, with a summer debut planned.
