Alexia Traverse-Healy

Alexia Traverse-Healy's formative years were spent in the eclectic surroundings of Kennington, South London, and the picturesque Tarn et Garonne region in southern France. Her parents, whose professional endeavors spanned the realms of education, commerce, hospitality, and public relations, instilled in her a unique perspective on life. This diversity of experience was further enhanced by her attendance at Woldingham School in Surrey, followed by a series of educational institutions in France. After completing her studies at Cardiff University and the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, Alexia embarked on her professional journey. Her debut performance was in Silviu Purcarete's 'Scapino' at the renowned Chichester Festival, a production that marked the beginning of her illustrious career. However, it was her subsequent collaboration with Michael Boyd on the two-year ensemble project, 'Histories', that truly catapulted her to prominence. This groundbreaking production, which won the coveted Olivier Award for 'Best Ensemble Performance', served as a testament to Alexia's remarkable talent and her ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
