Alice was born in Bilbao, Spain, as the daughter of a forensic psychiatrist and a teacher. She acquired her stage name at the age of 16 while assisting cinematographer Quique López on his projects. Without any initial connections in the film industry, Alice studied advertising at the Public University of Valencia (UPV) and began taking stills and directing fashion films for Spanish editions of Harper's Bazaar and other publications. She worked as an advertising creative, producer, and video editor at agencies Leo Burnett Iberia and Social Noise, as well as a storyboard artist.
In 2014, Alice co-wrote and co-produced a short film with Mexican producer Yadira Ávalos. Her first narrative piece, "Disco Inferno" (2015),received nominations in 70 international film festivals, including Palm Springs, Fantasia, Sitges, and Fantastic Fest, where she won awards for Best Director and Silver Feature Film Project. The short film toured Japan, China, the US, and Canada, earning "Best of the Fest" showcases for two years.
Alice's first feature film, "Paradise Hills" (2019),was produced by Spanish company Nostromo Pictures and starred Emma Roberts, Awkwafina, Eiza Gonzalez, Danielle Macdonald, Milla Jovovich, and Jeremy Irvine. The science-fiction YA thriller was written by Brian DeLeeuw and Nacho Vigalondo, and became the second Spanish debut film to be screened at the Sundance Film Festival (2019). The film also played at 20 other international genre festivals, including Fantasia, Sitges, and Mórbido.
