New York City based SAG actress Allie Marshall was born and raised in the picturesque state of Rhode Island, where the refreshing ocean breeze had a profound impact on her life. At the tender age of 16, after skipping a year of high school, Allie embarked on a unique journey, starting college with the intention of becoming an athletic trainer. However, her path took an unexpected turn when she discovered her passion for acting, making her film debut as Erica in the Netflix original film "Almost Mercy".
This life-changing experience prompted Allie to pivot her career, and she devoted herself to honing her craft. She completed her first year of acting, racking up an impressive 17 credits to her name. To further refine her skills, Allie trains bi-weekly with her acting coach, and she had the privilege of studying acting with renowned performance theorist Tim Hillman, who had worked with esteemed actors such as Matthew Perry, Sara Gilbert, and Rashida Jones, prior to his passing in April 2016.
Allie's impressive body of work can be seen on various platforms, including Lifetime, Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube, and local theaters. Some of her notable projects include the Lifetime Movie Network film "Sorority Nightmare", the Amazon Prime series "Brokedown", and the upcoming film "Blood Pi" (post-production).
When Allie is not acting, producing, or writing, she can often be found exploring new destinations, traveling by plane, train, or car. However, it's unlikely you'll catch her on a boat, as she has a confessed fear of deep waters and sharks! In her downtime, Allie enjoys sipping coffee, indulging in gluten-free pizza, cuddling with puppies, and watching movies. Her favorite things include sunflowers, sea otters, and vanilla lattes.
