Allison Holker, a talented and accomplished dancer, began her training at "The Dance Club" in Orem, Utah, at the tender age of nine. She quickly developed a passion for contemporary, ballet, jazz, and tap dancing, and her hard work and dedication soon paid off as she started entering dance competitions.
In 2004, Allison won the prestigious "Company Dance" competition in Colorado, and in 2005, she took home the top prize at the "New York City Dance Alliance" competition in New York. Her impressive skills and versatility earned her a spot on the opening and closing ceremonies of the Utah Olympics in 2002, where she performed alongside renowned artists.
Allison's extensive resume includes performances with Earth, Wind & Fire, as well as appearances in the tap show "Revolution" and the "Ballroom with a Twist" tour, choreographed by Louis van Amstel, a renowned choreographer and judge on "Dancing with the Stars." She also landed roles in Disney's "High School Musical" and "High School Musical 2" films, playing the part of a cheerleader in both movies.
In addition to her impressive performance career, Allison has also shared her expertise with aspiring dancers by teaching classes and workshops nationwide. Her experience and knowledge have made her a sought-after instructor, and she has worked with various dance conventions and workshops.
Allison's television credits include appearing as a contestant on season 2 of "So You Think You Can Dance," where she made it to the top 6. After her appearance on the show, she was invited to join the "So You Think You Can Dance Tour" in 2006. In 2010, she was selected to be a member of the "All Stars" for season 7 of the show.
In her personal life, Allison has been married to Stephen Boss since December 10, 2013. The couple has two children together, and Allison also has a daughter from a previous relationship who was adopted by Stephen Boss.
