Allison Munn was born and raised in the picturesque state of South Carolina, where she spent her formative years developing a passion for the performing arts. After completing her education at the esteemed College of Charleston, Munn made the bold decision to pursue a full-time career in acting, packing her bags and relocating to the city that never sleeps, New York.
In the Big Apple, Munn quickly found her footing, joining the talented cast of the iconic off-Broadway production of "The Fantasticks" at the historic Sullivan Street Theatre. Her impressive performance in this beloved musical earned her a spot in the spotlight, with Munn going on to star in an astonishing 500+ shows.
With her Broadway credits under her belt, Munn made the cross-country move to Los Angeles, where she soon landed a recurring role as "(Crazy) Caroline" on the popular Fox series "That '70s Show" in 1998. Her talent and charisma didn't go unnoticed, and Munn went on to join the cast of the WB's "What I Like About You" in 2002, bringing her signature charm to the role of "Tina Haven".
After her time at the WB, Munn made the switch to ABC, taking on the role of "Cindy" in the 2007 series "Carpoolers". She then joined the cast of the CW's "One Tree Hill" in 2003, bringing her talents to the role of "Lauren". Munn's impressive resume continued to grow, with her most recent role being that of "Anne Harper" on the Nickelodeon series "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn" since 2014.
When she's not busy bringing her characters to life on screen, Munn can be found enjoying quality time with her loving family. She is married to her husband Scott Holroyd, and the couple shares two beautiful children, son Nathan and daughter Nora, with whom they reside in their Los Angeles home.
