Amber Dawn Lee's journey to fame began with a foundation in acting, as she studied under the guidance of renowned acting coach Milton Katselas at the esteemed Beverly Hills Playhouse. Prior to her rise to stardom, Amber supported her acting career through her work as a fashion model, featuring in a variety of high-profile campaigns, including Triangles swimwear commercials, billboards, and magazines worldwide, such as Versace, Tom Ford, Karen Kell, and Gucci.
Amber's writing skills were also recognized, as she was featured in Creative Screenwriting magazine for her raw and emotionally charged screenplay works. Industry professional Greg Brooker, writer of Stuart Little, praised Amber's innate understanding of drama, stating that she "puts it on the page beautifully."
Two of Amber's screenplays, Mockstar and Children of the West, were quarterfinalists in the prestigious AAA screenwriting competition. In 2010, she established her own production company, Abovo Films, further solidifying her presence in the industry.
Amber's career took a significant turn when she began to pursue roles in short and feature indie films in Texas. However, she soon realized that her career aspirations would require a move to Los Angeles. With the encouragement of friends, Amber packed up her car in the middle of the night and drove straight to California, where she checked into the Sportsmen's Lodge and began taking acting classes at the world-famous Beverly Hills Playhouse.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Amber is a dedicated humanitarian, often speaking on panels across the United States on issues related to animal rights. She has also been involved in various animal rescue efforts, saving several dogs from shelters and finding them forever homes.
Amber's modeling career has been just as successful, with features in numerous publications, including the cover of Met Magazine, as well as appearances in Miami fashion shows for Versace. She has also been a guest on Good Morning America, alongside Dianne Sawyer.
In 2012, Amber filmed a documentary, The Rise and Fall of Zion, in Colorado City, Arizona, and Utah, which focused on the polygamist commune led by Warren Jeffs, a convicted rapist.
