His fervent passion for acting began to unfold during his high school years at Southeast High School, where he had the privilege of bringing iconic characters to life, including the esteemed Chief Sitting Bull in the renowned musical Annie Get Your Gun and the charismatic Sky Masterson in the classic Guys and Dolls.
Following the completion of his academic tenure at Bradley University, where he had initially embarked on a course of study in civil engineering, Amro made the courageous and unconventional decision to abandon his original career path and instead pursue a lifelong passion for acting.
Amro's pivotal moment of career advancement transpired following a response to a modest audition announcement featured in Back Stage, a renowned publication catering to the entertainment industry. Notwithstanding the absence of a professional agent, manager, and union affiliation, he was unexpectedly selected by the acclaimed director Ed Zwick to appear in the film The Siege, which boasted an impressive ensemble cast comprising Denzel Washington, Annette Bening, and Bruce Willis.
Noting his unwavering dedication to the craft, Amro took a crucial step in his acting journey by enrolling in esteemed classes with the illustrious Bill Esper at his Manhattan studios, a renowned institution that has nurtured the talents of numerous successful performers.
As a direct result of his hard work and perseverance, Amro's union status was soon secured, paving the way for him to land a series of notable roles on prominent television shows such as Law and Order, Third Watch, and others, which further solidified his reputation as a talented and sought-after actor.

Amro, a talented individual, has relocated to Chicago where he is diligently honing his craft on both regional and local stages, in addition to his television endeavors.
