Amy is a multifaceted American actor, host, and voice-over artist renowned for her impressive range of characters in various television series and films. She initially gained recognition as a Series Regular sketch performer in FOX's prime-time sketch-comedy series Cedric the Entertainer Presents, where she appeared in 22 episodes from 2001 to 2002.
Amy's subsequent role in HBO's dramatic series True Detective, starring alongside Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, further solidified her reputation as a talented actress. Her most recent hosting stint was on the reality dating TV show My Amazing Cheap Date, a 12-episode series produced by Hearst Television for their new streaming channel Very Local, available on Apple TV, ROKU, Google Play, and Amazon Fire TV.
As a voice-over talent, Amy has amassed an extensive body of work, including commercial VO, animation, film dub voice matches, and corporate video. Her experience in the industry began onstage as a teenage sketch comic and improv performer, where she developed over 50 original characters and impressions.
Before the rise of YouTube, Amy moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 with a self-produced VHS tape featuring 24 original characters. She initially worked as a model and later as a commercial actor, booking national and international commercials for renowned brands such as Apple, Diet Pepsi, Cars.com, SBC Global, and McVitie's Cookies.

Her big break in TV came during a screen test for 20th Century Fox, where she landed a Series Regular role in a comedy pilot. Amy's remarkable ability to transform often makes her unrecognizable in many of her television and film roles, which range from comedic to dramatic. In The Last Laugh (2019),she portrayed a young, fresh stand-up comic alongside Chevy Chase and Richard Dreyfuss. In the horror comedy Smothered (2016),she took on the role of a gray-haired, rotten-toothed, cigar-smoking, backwoods psychopath.
Currently, Amy resides in her home state of Louisiana with her husband and two young sons. She works with "local hire" status in projects filmed in New Orleans, Atlanta, and other cities throughout the Southeast U.S. market. When not working, Amy enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, and exploring her passions for photography, farmers markets, and creative writing. She frequently travels to California and Colorado.
