Amy DePaola is a multi-talented individual, boasting a background in acting, and has established herself as a successful narrative director, writer, and producer.
As a 2023 Black Magic Collective Future Women of TV Fellow and a Finalist in the prestigious Stowe TV Writers Lab and Stowe Narrative Lab, Amy has consistently demonstrated her exceptional skills in the industry.
Her impressive credits include several short films, including the Austin Film Festival Official Selection, "Plant Moms," starring Catherine Curtin, as well as "Tiki Bar Funeral Home," and all five episodes of the digital Queer series, "The Naturals."
Moreover, Amy has also written a memoir about her journey into the sport of boxing, titled "AmyDee," which premiered at the Provincetown International Film Festival and went on to play at eighteen other festivals.
As the founder of Pink Among Men Productions, Amy is currently developing two features and is writing her first feature, which she will also direct.
In her personal life, Amy resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Daniel, and their adorable pup, Ruby. She is an avid student, having studied with The Groundlings and Actors Comedy Studio, and has also honed her craft with the Moscow Art Theater and American Repertory Theater.
Amy's roots are in New Jersey, where she developed a love for pizza, and she holds an MFA from Emerson College. She is represented by the esteemed Buchwald Talent.
