Amy Farrington

Amy Farrington was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but her formative years were spent in Garland, a charming suburb of Dallas, Texas, where she was nurtured in a rich cultural environment that would later influence her pursuit of a career in the performing arts. Following her attendance at a prestigious musical theatre conservatory program, she honed her craft by working in local and regional theatres, gradually building a reputation as a talented and dedicated performer. As her skills and experience grew, she made the bold decision to relocate to Chicago, a city renowned for its vibrant arts scene. In the Windy City, she had the opportunity to perform at several esteemed theatres, including the Bailwick Repertory, The Court Theatre, and the renowned Steppenwolf Theatre, where she showcased her remarkable range and versatility in a diverse array of roles. After accumulating an impressive twenty-play credits, she made the move to Los Angeles, where her big break awaited. Her initial foray into television was as a series regular in a pilot for NBC, a role that led to further opportunities, including a starring part in the critically acclaimed series, The Michael Richards Show, also for NBC. She went on to star in pilots for several networks and guest-starred and recurred in numerous sitcoms, including the iconic Will & Grace, Just Shoot Me!, Malcolm in the Middle, Two and a Half Men, The King of Queens, and The New Adventures of Old Christine.
