Amy Hoerler's journey to becoming an actress began with a profound desire to pursue her passion, which was sparked by the tragic events of 9/11.
Amy honed her acting skills on the Lower East Side of Manhattan with the a)LoStCrEaTiVe Theatre Company, further refining her craft at the renowned Neighborhood Playhouse and Atlantic Theatre Company.
After relocating to Florida, Amy had the privilege of studying under the guidance of the legendary Burt Reynolds at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre from 2010 to 2018, earning the esteemed title of Master Acting Class student.
Amy's impressive stage credits include performances at various iconic venues in New York City, such as PS122, La MaMa, HERE, Wings, Collective:Unconscious, and the 13th Street Rep, with a notable achievement being her portrayal of the female lead in the longest-running off-off Broadway play, LINE.
In addition to her extensive stage work, Amy has also made a name for herself in the film industry, starring in and working on several independent and student films, including Lulu Wang's Can-Can, Adam Rifkin's The Last Movie Star, and Dan Myrick's Black Veil.
Today, Amy continues to honor her promise to Burt Reynolds by remaining dedicated to her craft, and as a testament to her perseverance, she is a proud SAG-AFTRA member in good standing, residing near Palm Springs, California, and available as a modified local hire on SAG-AFTRA projects.
