Person Biography:
Anabelle is a multi-talented individual who wears many hats, including being an award-winning actress, writer, director, singer, producer, and C.E.O. of the film production company Blue Boots Entertainment, which she operates in Los Angeles.
As a filmmaker, Anabelle draws inspiration from her strong theatre background and classic literature, and her work is deeply rooted in traditional Japanese, German, Greek, and British storytelling. She describes her process as a re-discovery and re-invention of historic story-lines.
Anabelle's artistic focus is dedicated to purpose-driven filmmaking, with a focus on spreading awareness about recovery from addiction, healing, and discovering purpose and spirituality. Her 3 Book Series, "The Skeleton Key Series," shares her own powerful story of healing.
As a director, Anabelle's work explores deeply human topics. Her feature film "Ole King Cole" is a tour-de-force that follows three broken people trying to cope and find an exit strategy to their troubles. She has also directed the powerful short film "The Weight of Perfection," which tackles the dark subject of eating disorders.
Anabelle has also worked on several other festival-winning films, including "Bullies," "Bob Junior," "The Boy Who Cried Fish!," "The Nerd Posse," and "Gaijin: Fish Out of Water," which garnered numerous awards.
In recent years, Anabelle has taken on the lead role in the sci-fi feature film "Tracing Force," directed and written by Elias Acosta, and also directed the Vertical TV hit show "Atlante's Mistaken Fiancée," which gained over 1 million views during its launch week in 2024.
To give back to the filmmaking community, Anabelle founded the ETHOS Film Awards and Institute and serves as an Executive Director for the World Culture Film Festival.
