Andrea Londo is a Mexican-American actress, renowned for her captivating portrayal of Maria Salazar in Narcos' third season.
Born in San Diego, California, Londo spent her childhood in Tijuana, Mexico, and would frequently cross the border to attend school in San Diego, spending half the day at school and the other half at home in Tijuana. This unique experience, spanning eighteen years, allowed her to develop a deep understanding of her dual cultural heritage.
Londo's journey to becoming an actress was marked by determination and perseverance. She moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue her acting career, and despite not having a traditional background in the industry, she managed to get representation by mailing a headshot and a persuasive cover letter.
After a year in LA, Londo received an acceptance letter from Barnard College in New York City, but chose to stay in Los Angeles to continue her acting career. She began by appearing in short films for university students and eventually landed her first TV credit in 2015.
In 2016, Londo's career gained momentum as she appeared in her first TV guest star roles in Faking It and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Later that year, she planned to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),but missed her orientation due to an audition for Narcos, which ultimately led to her securing the role.

In 2017, it was announced that Londo would be playing the role of Carnalita in Kurt Sutter's Sons of Anarchy spin-off, Mayans MC. However, due to scheduling conflicts, she was recast just days before filming was set to begin, a challenging experience that only motivated her to work harder.
In 2018, Londo starred as Cynthia in Sony's SuperFly, a film produced by Joel Silver and directed by Director X. She credits her manager with securing the role, which led to her being flown to Atlanta for filming just days after Christmas.
Since then, Londo has appeared in numerous independent films and TV shows, including The Free Fall, Dreaming Grand Avenue, Good Egg, Adventure Tom, Snowfall FX, Tommy, and The Winchesters. Most recently, she took on the role of Celestina del Sol in the play "Cloud Tectonics" opposite Bobby junior Soto and Clayton Cardenas, during the historic SAG-AFTRA strike.
