Andres Heinz's academic journey commenced at UCLA, where he pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film. His academic prowess was exemplary, as he graduated with the highest honors. In fact, his thesis film, "Ground Level B", won the prestigious 1st Place Mobil Award, a testament to his exceptional filmmaking skills.

Following his graduation, Andres embarked on a career in film and television production, taking on various roles. One of his notable positions was as a Production Coordinator for the film unit at Saturday Night Live, where he honed his skills in the fast-paced world of live television.

Andres's directorial debut was the feature film "Origin of the Species", which marked the beginning of a successful career in filmmaking. He has since sold several original screenplays, solidifying his reputation as a talented and innovative storyteller.

Interestingly, Andres's screenplay "The Understudy" served as the inspiration for the critically acclaimed film "Black Swan", which has garnered widespread acclaim and recognition in the film industry.
