Andrew Asper was born in Miami, Florida to Jess and Cindy Asper, who were Christian missionaries. As the third child, Andrew spent most of his elementary years moving around from school to school, finally settling in San Antonio, Texas in 2002. It was during this time that his passion for the stage and spotlight began to grow.
He was first discovered in the 7th grade when he auditioned for the lead role in his school play, Tom Sawyer the Musical, and surprisingly landed the part. This marked the beginning of his journey into the world of acting.
Andrew then attended Ronald Reagan High School, where he excelled in poetry, dramatic interpretation, and other forms of performance. He even won the Texas State Championship in Duet Acting and received numerous awards in various categories.
His exceptional skills earned him a spot in the BFA program at Emerson College, where he graduated with a degree and received a "Best Actor" award nomination.
After graduating, Andrew moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his acting career. He has since appeared in numerous TV shows, including recurring roles on "Shameless" and "Still the King," as well as guest starring roles on "NCIS" and "CSI: Cyber." He has also landed roles on popular TV shows like "Silicon Valley" and "Dear White People."
In addition to acting, Andrew is now venturing into producing. His self-produced series, "Swingti.me," was a finalist in the 2017 Austin Film Festival. As his acting and storytelling abilities continue to grow, Andrew looks forward to the future with excitement and anticipation.
