Angela Relucio, a talented actress, is widely recognized for her captivating performances in various roles. Her most notable characters include Nurse Risa in the CBS medical drama "Code Black" for three seasons and Lt. Camille Fung, a Navy Intelligence Officer, in the first season of The Weinstein Company's series "Six".
In addition to her television work, Angela has also appeared in films, including Julie Taymor's "The Glorias", which premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Her exceptional performance in the feature film "Angel" earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2021 International Christian Film Festival.
Born and raised in New York City, specifically in the Bronx, Angela's early life was marked by a passion for dance. She performed with Fancy Feet Dance Studio's competition troupe before being granted a coveted spot at the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
However, Angela's interest in acting soon overshadowed her love for dance, and she opted to attend the academically renowned Bronx High School of Science. She then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
In 2010, Angela made the decision to relocate from New York to California. She currently resides in both Los Angeles and Atlanta, and is a proud dog mom, a self-proclaimed foodie, and a self-proclaimed nerd.
